Englisch:

45 rusty bent iron bars, each carrying a huge head made of bricks forming an impermeable net – representing a countless mass like the innumerable, imprisoned crowd of people in the concentration camp Wöbbelin.
In 2015, the big sculpture „Faces of the concentration camp Wöbbelin”, conceived by the artist Marcus Barwitzki, Magdeburg, was inaugurated in front of the Memorial of Wöbbelin.
The sculpture was created by more than 250 people from 21 nations in three continents. In Germany, people from the county Ludwigslust-Parchim and from 11 federal states of Germany took part in the creation of this project. Its main features, the historical background and participatory character, make it a very special project.
The film „Faces of the concentration camp Wöbbelin” tells the story of this great art project.
