In October our Erasmus + project REMBRANTS MOVIE CAMERA started in Istanbul, Turkey.
There we met for a week with all the teachers of the participating partner schools from Romenia, Bulgaria, Italy, Greece and Turkey to plan the two-year project.
Last week it officially started in the Protestant School Hagenow. This time not only three teachers from each host country were present, but also 3 students and they lived during this time with their German host families.
In this film project we work closely together with the Museum Schwerin and in the last week we met twice there to perform a film workshop directly in the Museum. This Erasmus + project is about to bring a well-known painting from their city to life. The finished films are then displayed in the Museum Schwerin next to the paintings.
On the last day, an international film team went through the school and recorded interviews. Mara (Romania), Daria (Romania), Nikolay (Bulgaria), Yüsra (Turkey), Emil (Bulgaria), Jeremie (Germany) As shown in the video, they took their role as reporters very seriously and not only interviewed students but also the teacher Ali from Turkey.
The project has just started. I’ll keep you posted where REMBRANT is putting up his MOVIE CAMERA next
